Jackie Blue
You won’t find it in my column, due to a slight conflict of interest, but I felt it my blogging duty to let you know that the minimally-awaited Jackie Blue is now open. Thanks to Sue Gleiter’s coverage in today’s Patriot-News.
The former home to wing king, Double Jacks, Jackie Blue specializes in upscale Mediterranean-based foods. Everything is fresh, and they even make their own condiments.
A birds-eye maple bar stretches 30 feet down one side of the restaurant. They have a number of interesting beers on draft, including Troegs’ Mad Elf and Magic Hat No.9.
Thanks to Carl, who sent me these photos.

It is a fine place indeed. Wish I caught the acoustic act. I love acoustic and female singers.
I’m very happy with the way this place has turned out. It is certain to become a favorite watering hole of mine, seeing as I live right around the corner.
Sara– I saw you in there the two times I’ve visited (most recently Tuesday night). Next time I’ll say hi!
Hey Josh, please do!
I have heard great things about Jackie Blue. Since I live a block away, I’ll definitely have to check it out. Thank you.
How about the food? Looking for a new spot for dinner……
The food is outstanding! You definitely have to give it a try. Their menu is online at http://www.jackiebluedeli.com.
