Weekend Roundup 9/8 – #cenpaflood version
Well, I was all prepared to produce this rather long list of events for this weekend, but sadly, much of it is already canceled or postponed – or likely will be in the coming days. Follow me on Twitter for updates, and I'll try to update this post as the day goes on.
I encourage everyone to stay safe, help your neighbors in need and for pete's sake, please just try to stay home if you can. I will do my best to keep you updated on major event changes, including Friday's Blackman MMA PFC VI (now postponed to Nov. 19) and Accomac Inn's second annual Farm to Table Dinner on Saturday, which were on my plate for the weekend.
If you still have cable access and a dry place to watch it, the NFL season kicks off tonight (read more on that from Jeff, here), and my column tomorrow will share a few NFL hot spots and specials.
Please stay safe this weekend!
Check out local flood photos and feed updates at www.cenpaflood.com, thanks to Megan Barto and Scott Davis.
If you can make it to the west shore, that's where most of the action is happening this weekend, as much of it is less affected by the flood. Here's what's going on. Feel free to email me or leave a comment with events you know are happening.
