Weekend Roundup 12/27
I hope you all had a happy and healthy holiday. We traipsed around the state to visit all of our parents, ate a ton, drank some good beers and lots of champagne and then crashed hard.
Tonight, I’ll swing by the newly opened Federal Taphouse before heading to HMAC for the Jam for Jersey, the proceeds of which benefit Mike’s children. On Saturday, I’ll join friends and family of Jersey Mike’s at the Abbey Bar for the Harrisburg memorial, which will still feel like a party, should we all hold it together enough. We know he would have wanted us rocking out in his memory, not crying in a bar, so I know we’ll all do our best to properly celebrate our friend.
While that’s my weekend, there is plenty going on around the area prior to Monday night’s holiday (that post is coming tomorrow). Speaking of, my husband works New Year’s Day, so we’re just hosting a small dinner at our house before our friends sashay into the night to countdown to 2013.
Stay tuned for the full gang’s 2013 resolutions, as well. Kelly’s are up, Tierney’s hit tomorrow, and I’ll have mine on Sunday. Feel free to share your own!
