This week on SaraBozich.com
After a quick pop-in to the Chicago send-off for my friend and fellow blogger, Lauren, at the Brewhouse last evening, we called it a low key evening with pizza, popcorn and the DVR.
Meanwhile, I’m starting off this morning with my first crossfit class. Yes, I’m terrified. Thankfully, Erin of Pushups and Carrots has agreed to be my partner for the class. She’s a veteran crossfitter whose schedule has kept her away for a good bit, so she’s the perfect kind of partner – familiar but won’t be bored by reviewing the basics.
Hopefully afterward I’ll be able to pull myself together for what will be a busy Saturday. When I throw parties these days, I like to wait until the very last minute to plan, so today I’ll hit the liquor store (and maybe see my dad!), the market, and wherever else necessary. Yay!
For you, my dears, ICYMI, my column this week was on wine events for the weekend (quickie: tasting at noon today at the Lemoyne PA Wine & Spirits store; tomorrow, visit Adams County Winery for soup and wine).
Meanwhile, the giveaway is still open to win a $50 gift card to Mangia Qui and Suba – we’ve already far surpassed the record entries for a giveaway, so get in there (WordPress makes this easier, right?).
Jeff had two posts for us this week — first on Harrisburg Lacrosse (bet you didn’t know we had that in this area), and the second on the outdoor AHL game coming up in Hershey on Jan. 20.
For you winter runners (or New Year’s resolvers), get inspired by Kelly’s winter racing series.
Of course, as usual, we rounded up the weekend for you in one tidy post — and last but not least, Tierney explained what’s behind her true love of craft beer.
Next week I’ll have reviews of my recent TRX and crossfit classes (as per my own New Year’s resolutions), plus a review of Carley’s Show Tunes Sunday – and much more.
