Weekly PA Wine & Spirits Tasting
As I mentioned in last week’s column, select PA Wine & Spirits stores are now offering samples each Saturday from noon to 2 p.m.
At the Lemoyne location, Retail Wine Specialist Kirt Heintzelman will lead a tasting of the following wines this Saturday, Jan. 19:
- Vinum Cellars ‘Bubbles’ NV Sparkling Chenin Blanc ($16.99)
- Vinum Cellars Chenin Blanc Viognier Clarksburg 2011 ($10.99)
- Steven Kent Chardonnay 2010 (Chairman’s Selection $14.99)
- Steven Kent Red Blend 2010 (Chairman’s Selection $14.99)
Tom Edwards, Retail Wine Specialist at the Jonestown Road PA Wine & Spirits store also will offer a sampling between noon and 2 p.m. on Saturday.
- Nederburg Chenin Blanc 2012 (Chairman’s Selection $7.99)
- Frederic Giachino 2011 Vin de Savoie ‘Abymes Monfarina’ ($16.99)
- Orin Swift 2011 ‘Abstract’ from Napa Valley ($31.99)
- Shatter 2010 Grenache ($24.99)
Samples are limited to the four featured wines each week and are free. Must be 21+.
