Giveaway: Millennium Music Conference
**Congrats to leah pomone and abbie, winners of the 2-day Main Stage passes for MMC**
This weekend, our area hosts the 17th annual Millennium Music Conference at more than 30 locations throughout Harrisburg and the West Shore.
The conference is multipurpose. At one end, it is an opportunity for aspiring musicians to hear from a variety of panelists, mentors and other speakers on music industry topics from management to production to marketing.
What Millennium is best known for, however, is how it transforms the area into a live music mecca over these three days in February, exposing us to more than 300 up and coming artists from all over North America.
Most of the concerts are free, and you’ll find pop-up shows at some of your favorites bars and restaurants. View the schedule here.
The main stage event happens over two days – Friday and Saturday – at the Radisson Hotel & Convention Center Camp Hill. Pabst Blue Ribbon will host a free Welcome Party featuring live sound check for Bernie Worrell Orchestra from 5-6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15.
Doors reopen at 7:30 p.m. for MMC Friday Funk featuring live performances from Funktion, Mad Men, Sophistafunk, Bernie Worrell Orchestra and Funkbot & The Love Explosion. This is an all ages show; must be 21+ to drink.
Saturday night Main Stage event features performances from Carving Out Fiction, Minshara, Crobot, Hierosonic and SUPER Bob. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Again, all ages; must be 21+ to drink.
