TGI the weekend, my friends.
Today I am scheduled for a blogger meet-up over a Chef Demonstration at The Hotel Hershey, part of Chocolate-Covered February, but the weather may determine otherwise.
Tonight, I’ll be at Buddha Buddha for their Chinese New Year’s Party – stop down for some great $3 drink specials or to check-in Tsingtao, an authentic Chinese brew. No cover charge, come early for Happy Hour from 8-10 p.m. and get $5 select cocktails.
I’ll also probably have to shimmy down to the Hardware Bar for their last-night-ever party. Fun fact: I opened the original Hardware Bar (and York location, too), so though I haven’t frequented it in years, it holds a special place in my heart. I’ve been meaning for years to write, “An Ode to the Hardware Bar,” and I think it’s finally time. Stay tuned.
Meanwhile, it was a busy week here. First we welcomed Lagunitas Brewing Co. to the area – you can find them on draft a bunch of places, and it should become a more familiar brand, especially for lovers of California-style IPAs.
