Hey hey! Another summer weekend. By the way, if you’re reading this in the 11 a.m. email: Call off work the rest of the day and head to any of the places here — Or, Mr. G’s, the Maennerchor, Appalachian Brewing Co., or anywhere with a television for FIFA WORLD CUP USA v. GERMANY. Here’s your get-out-of-work-free note.

Hot Topics on FOX 43 with Chris Garrett and Mike Miller.

Psst – I joined Chris Garrett and Mike Miller for a new segment on FOX 43 this week — WATCH here. We talked about World Cup Mania.

This week has largely been about work for me, and it continues this evening. Tomorrow, I’m hanging with my dad in the afternoon – a belated Father’s Day excursion. We’ll either hit the driving range and grab a beer or peruse a book store with coffee — or maybe just grab lunch — or some combo thereof. By night, plans are “by ear,” but I have a hankering for barbecue and live music, so I’m thinking I’ll head to MoMo’s.

Saturday, however, I have a full docket: In fact, you’ll want to tune in from 9 a.m. to noon on WTPA, as I’ll be Bruce Bond’s guest for the entire show.

Later, I was invited to the “tweet seats” for a special lecture and demonstration as New York City Ballet will host CPYB summer dance students at Whitaker Center in the afternoon. As a former dancer (as a kid), I love ballet so I’m excited for this unique opportunity. You, of course, can see the full performance by  night.

On Sunday: ??? I hear Sand Trap Grill at Liberty Forge has $3 Bloody Marys 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., so you’ll probably find me there.

Need more inspiration? Tune in tomorrow morning at 7:10 a.m. to Glenn & Bob on The River 97.3 for “Sara’s Weekend Picks.” What are you doing this weekend?
