About Kelly

gravHailing from Wilkes-Barre, Pa., I landed in Harrisburg accidentally after college. Fully intending for it to be temporary, I find myself still here six years later, with no intentions of leaving. Harrisburg is where I developed a love for my true passion, running. One day in 2010, I went for a stroll along the river in Front Street, and decided to turn my walk into a run. I probably made it a mile or so. And that was it. I’ve never looked back, and I can’t believe I went so long without running in my life. I don’t remember who I was without it. With a background in swimming, a transition to triathlons was easy, and I still dabble in them. However, my true love is distance running. I am happiest when I am out on a Saturday morning on my third hour of running. It’s a strange addiction. Most people think I am a health freak because of how much I run, but to be honest, I am the pickiest eater alive, and if I could survive on pizza and Diet Coke, I would. However, I can not, and I believe in moderation and balance in regards to my health. That being said, I used to be found at bars until last call, but now happy hour is more my jam because I tend to fall asleep by 8 p.m. Kelly Leighton joined SaraBozich.com in 2011 and is our resident triathlete with a passion for happy hour. Follow her on Twitter.
