About Micah

Micah JacobsA York County original, until recently I never lived anywhere else. I found myself traveling into Harrisburg almost every weekend for nightlife, and when the opportunity arose I moved to Midtown Harrisburg and have loved every second of it! I graduated from college in 2014 with my Bachelors in Science and have been working as an Environmental Health & Safety Manager since 2015. Music is my lifeblood. My brother gave me a Motley Crue album when I was 10, and my mom bought me my first guitar when I was 13. I never looked back. I have been involved in music in some fashion ever since. From writing and playing in bands, DJing and EDM production, to always having tickets to the next live show in my pocket. I always say, "You'll always be in a good mood at a concert.‚ÄĚ Because I have never gone to a live show and not left feeling some sort of deep emotion from it. Having been to over 200 live shows and counting, I am able to find enjoyment in almost any type of music. I listen to everything from metal to indie, from folk to hip-hop. I find it's important to listen to music for the mood you want to be in, not for the mood you are in. When I'm not at some of my favorite venues enjoying live music, you can find me at a local dive bar enjoying craft beers and taking over the jukebox or watching baseball. I really enjoy outdoor sports like snowboarding, skateboarding and hiking. But always, with a set of headphones on.
