When I left for college, I never expected I’d return and call Harrisburg home again. But today, I don’t think any other place would feel the same. You can find me on either shore, whether Harrisburg’s Second Street or Bridge Street in New Cumberland.
I’m not what one would call a foodie, but instead my love is for craft beer. If there’s something new on tap, expect to find me sipping away in search of my next favorite beer. Not one to leave it to chance, I like to scour Twitter, Facebook and chat with friends about the latest beer releases that might tickle my palate. It’s not unusual for me to compare what I’m tasting to bubble gum, soy sauce, dog biscuits or Pepperoni Pizza Combos.
When not on a quest for the Holy Grail of beer, I write about fashion. You’re not going to see much “off the runway” nonsense from me, but rather easy tutorials on ways you can incorporate seasonal trends into your everyday life. My parents should have known when I had 20 pairs of shoes at age 14 that I was a fashionista in training.
I love giving advice, love the thrill of making a new outfit and can’t wait to share what fashion ideas I have brewing in my head with everyone else.
I don’t take most things very seriously and enjoy laughing my face off with friends. I’ll try just about anything once, and I always enjoy a challenge. I like to describe myself as a little mixture of Carrie Bradshaw, Zane Lamprey and the girl next door. Figure that one out.
