I’m working on a story on bloggers – sort of who, how and why, but without turning into a “how to” guide or “for dummies” manual. I will cover the best ways to get started, however, so if you have suggestions (something besides blogger.com), feel free to submit those as well.
By today, I’ll be emailing some local Harrisburg-area bloggers. If I don’t contact you, and you’d like to be a part of my story, please feel free to comment below or email me.
I’m interested in what you choose to blog about, whether it’s more of a personal diary, largely politics-oriented or a local news blog (or something else!), and why you blog.
If you scan the links on the right side of this page, you’ll find two local entertainment websites, OSHRadio and HbgOnline. OSHRadio launched just October of last year, and HbgOnline has been around for over five years. Both have all limbs into the local music and entertainment scene, and now the two entities are partnering to mesh their internet radio ventures into one all-consuming station.
Listen for a variety of talk and comedy shows – oh and hey, if you want to, they’ll let you run your own show on — get this — whatever you want.
Shows are live or taped and aim to include countdowns, news, talk shows and more.

It’s time again to begin voting for Harrisburg Magazine’s 2005 Simply the Best Winners. They have some new categories this year, in a nicely streamlined format.
You can purchase a copy of Harrisburg Magazine at many local retailers, including Giant and Barnes & Noble.
Please vote for me, SARA BOZICH, for Best “Columnist/Journalist” under the subtitle, “In the Stars.”

There’s a lot happening in the Harrisburg area in 2005.
If you missed it, read last week’s column to fill you in on the “Superclub,” another Kokomo’s location and more.
But that’s not all …
